Aryana Makati is a senior at Berkeley Preparatory School. As both an artist & writer, she enjoys creating content to promote the creative works & people of her community. Makati is the Editor-in-Chief of The Fanfare and has honed her media skills through educational experiences like the Columbia University Summer Journalism Program and Gloria Shields NSPA Media Workshops. She is passionate about digital art and expanding education in media.
Bud Ward
Bud Ward is founding editor of Yale Climate Connections (www.yaleclimateconnections.org), which he edited from 2007 through 2022. He started his journalism career in 1974, and later served as assistant director of the U.S. Congress's National Commission on Air Quality, before founding The Environmental Forum magazine. Ward is passionate about continuing education in journalism among youth.
Maria Mostajo
Maria Mostajo is a Board Member of the esteemed Mattatuck Museum and a retired lawyer whose legal journey began in 1992 as a prosecutor in the Bronx. Now, she has channeled her passion into collecting art and supporting emerging Latin American artists by curating exhibitions and connecting them with influential individuals and resources. Mostajo’s love for art takes her on journeys across the nation, where she frequently attends art shows, studios, and events.
